Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj Tapped For Japan Aid Compilation LP

U2 and Bon Jovi will also be featured on digital-only album from Universal Music.

Some of pop music's biggest artists, including Justin Bieber, Rihanna and Nicki Minaj, are lending their tunes for a good cause. On Monday (March 21), it was announced that Universal Music is rushing out a digital-only compilation album to raise awareness and funds for those affected by the 9.0-magnitude earthquake and tsunami that struck Japan.

While the lineup and track list have yet to be finalized, other chart-toppers expected to be featured on the release include U2 and Bon Jovi. Lady Gaga may also appear on the album. Proceeds from sales will go to the Japanese Red Cross.

"We are doing it only digitally because it is faster, and this will be a worldwide release. The plan is to have it available later this week," a spokesperson for Universal Music said.

In order to maximize proceeds, the record label plans to find more acts willing to waive royalties that would have come from having their tracks appear on the compilation.

Universal Music is not the only music-industry player reaching to support Japan disaster relief. Most recently, the Black Eyed Peas announced that the music video for their tune "Just Can't Get Enough" would be used to promote awareness and funds for victims of the tragic event. The clip, which was shot in Japan one week before the earthquake and tsunami hit, finds the BEP bandmates traveling throughout Toyko.

Earlier this month, Lady Gaga designed a special prayer bracelet with all proceeds going to relief efforts. In just two days, the pop singer and her legion of little monsters raised more than $250,000.

For more information on what you can do to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan head to MTV Act, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

Nicole Scherzinger: An "X Factor" Shoe-In?

Her looks and personality would make her perfect for the job and, rumor has it, Nicole Scherzinger has landed the hosting spot on the upcoming show ?The X Factor.?

The former ?Pussycat Dolls? singer was reportedly brought in to try out for a judge position, but once Simon Cowell witnessed her ?natural ability? in front of the camera he offered her the hosting gig.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper, ?Never has there been so much behind-the-scenes wheeling and dealing as with 'X Factor' USA. ?Having lined up Nicole as a potential judge, Simon decided to try something different and unexpected, and have a non-mainstream presenter present.?

?Nicole's had screen tests and is a natural in front of the camera. Autocue does not faze her at all. As an established singer, both as a solo artist and in a group, Nicole will be great with the contestants and knows what she is talking about.?

?The approach was made a few weeks ago. And although she has still not formally signed, it's all looking very positive,? the source added.

Lady Gaga Says No Duets On Born This Way

'I want to stand on my own two feet,' Gaga says.

On Lady Gaga's 2009 smash The Fame Monster, the eccentric star hooked up with one of the fiercest ladies in the game when she and Beyoncé got their party on for the club anthem "Telephone." The singers then appeared together in an over-the-top music video in which they played a Quentin Tarantino-esque version of Thelma and Louise.

As the May 23 release date of Gaga's latest musical opus Born This Way draws near, the singer's little monsters are wondering if the star has secured any A-list talent for a collaboration on the new album.

In a recent radio chat, Gaga revealed that she's not planning on having anyone guest on Born This Way, according to Digital Spy. "I want to stand on my own two feet. I've already collaborated with my favorite female in the business," she teased. "We'll see how I'm feeling when I'm wrapping up the album."

With the anticipation for the record so high, fans are beginning to piece together the puzzle of BTW. Reported lyrics for her second single, "Judas," have already hit the Internet. On the track, Gaga waxes poetic about a lover whom she loves more than he loves her.

"Judas/ You never ever never/ Ever really ever loved me more, than I/ But Nemesis is watching over-high," she reportedly sings. "And this is your time/ Judas, lie on lie, write/ Tears drop 'cause I cry/ The echo truth killed you so you may finally die."

Lyrics for another BTW track, "Government Hooker," also reportedly found their way onto the Internet. A remix of the song debuted last week at the Thierry Mugler fashion show in Paris.

On the song, Gaga sings, "We had our night/ Our real nature/ No more time to decide/ Let it climb, let it ignite/ I can be cool/ I can be anything/ I'll be your everything/ Just touch me baby."

Amber Rose Tweets Her Weight To Combat Fat Rumors, Lands Foxxhole Radio Show

Amber Rose caught feelings over the blogosphere calling her fat--especially after pics of her jogging session in unflattering leopard leggings hit the net.

So Kanye's ex took to twitter to tell her followers her height and weight and said she doesn't understand the hate.  We've got her Tweet, plus details on her new radio show on Foxxhole radio, when you read on....

Over the past couple months, folks in the blogosphere have been commenting on Amber Rose's supposed weight gain.  So she finally had enough yesterday and tweeted this, according to the Huffington Post:

‘I'm 5'9 148. How am I fat? Man, what have I done so wrong? Be [too] nice? I just don't get it.’

Of course, she deleted the tweet after she noticed she had just done what almost no woman would have the balls to do.

Meanwhile, the crazy funny folks over at Sirius/XM's Foxxhole radio have a new host.  Jamie Foxx went and gave Amber her own "sexy" radio show.  What it will be about?  Who knows.  But Foxxhole is known for keeping things comedic and inappropriate.  Which is why I love it.  The tweets from Amber and Jamie:

Amber's also still shooting her "Behind The Shades" reality show.  Wonder how this will all work out.

Vanessa Hudgens: Cruisin' with Josh Hutcherson!

Hoppin' aboard for a cruise around town, Vanessa Hudgens and Josh Hutcherson paired up for a motorcycle adventure before arriving together at Hudgens' home in Studio City on Tuesday (March 15).

The "Beastly" babe seemed quite smitten as she chatted with her "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" before the twosome made their way inside and away from paparazzi view.

With Hudgens recently ending a lengthy relationship with former "High School Musical" co-star Zac Efron late last year, Hugens and Hutcherson have since been rumored to be a possible new item.

The pair were said to have been quite friendly at an afterparty following last month's premiere of Vanessa's movie "Beastly," as a People insider dished, "Their arms were wrapped around each other and they were really touchy together. They were very cute."

Justin Bieber's Rockin' Night in London

Fresh off of a rockin' performance in the UK, Justin Bieber was swarmed by fans as he arrived back at his posh London hotel on Monday night (March 14).

Sporting a green and yellow International Missing Childrens Notice Board (IMCNB) hoodie, the "Baby" hitmaker hugged a few lucky onlookers before being escorted inside to get some much needed rest.

The hotel sighting followed stage duties at O2 Arena, after which Justin enthusiastically tweeted, "AMAZING SHOW 2nite at the O2!! Brought out Craig David which was crazy because I grew up listening to him."

Scheduled to remain in London for a few more days, Bieber wrote a short while later, "2 more shows at the O2 this week...and the surprises are just getting bigger!"

Leighton Meester Channels Ke$ha On New Song

The 'Gossip Girl' star gets her party on with 'Front Cut,' a new track that just hit the Internet.
By Jocelyn Vena

For a while there it seemed like Leighton Meester was only going to be "Country Strong," but now she's again embracing her dance-club music roots on a new track. On Tuesday, a new Meester tune titled "Front Cut" hit the Web.

The "Gossip Girl" star's track, a certain club banger that could easily be confused with any song in Ke$ha's dance-heavy discography, features the writing, production and vocal talents of Clinton Sparks.

"I'm too fly to be all up in this line, boy/ I should get a front cut/ I should get a front cut," Meester proclaims in the opening lines of the song — which is all about getting key access to a slamming party — before some killer keyboards and heavy beats kick in. She goes on to rap/sing, "You see me coming through/ Not just me, my girlfriends too/ You know what we came to do/ That's why we in front of you."

Meester really displays her swagga on the song's bridge, when she goes on to sing, "Don't tell me I gotta wait in the line/ I said f--- the front door, I should go in through the side/ Why don't you/ Lift up that rope to let through/ All these girls in my crew / Give me a drink or a few/ I mean a bottle or two/ We've been out here too damn long / And I hear Clint Sparks playin' my song/ Got my diamond and my Louboutins on/ Ya better hurry up or I'll be gone/ Don't tell me I gotta wait in no line/ 'Cause there's plenty of other clubs that want me inside."

With no official release date for the track or any definite plans for an album release, it seems that for now Meester fans will have to just enjoy the song online. The singer/actress' pop-star career has been long-simmering, to say the least. She was expected to drop an album in 2010, but that never happened.

In 2009, she appeared on Cobra Starship's "Good Girls Go Bad," then she hooked up with Robin Thicke on the song "Somebody to Love."

So what do you think of Meester's new club banger? Share your opinions in the comments.

Deadmau5 Brings Dance Music To The 'Masses,' Wolfgang Gartner Says

'He has a major role in the younger generation to this music,' producer/DJ tells MTV News of his collaborator.
By Adam Stewart

It's no secret that 2010 was a pivotal year for electronic dance music here in the States. With deadmau5 and Swedish House Mafia becoming household names, the genre's momentum shows no signs of slowing down. Using a conduit of collaboration, artists such as deadmau5 (a.k.a. Joel Zimmerman) have paired up with various underground acts to further the rapid expansion of the genre.

Perhaps one of the most notable movers and shakers of the year is now-Grammy-Award-nominated producer and DJ Wolfgang Gartner, who recently sat down to chat with MTV News about deadmau5 and dance music's rise to the top.

"He has a major role in the younger generation to this music," Gartner says, "but there have been certain artists that have been instrumental in helping it cross over and reach the mainstream — which I think is a good thing. I think rap artists using dance beats is a great thing. I think it just brings more people towards this music that we all love."

Thanks to several key moments, such as deadmau5 taking the helm as house DJ (well, technically "House Artist") for the 2010 VMAs, dance music has been thrown into the forefront of America's youth, a key demographic for any genre.

"Everybody knows who he is now and he's kind of exposing the masses to dance music. These little five-, six- and seven-year-old kids latch on to this 'mau5head' logo — they get into the music and he's bringing this tiny young generation into this music that probably wouldn't be exposed to it."

Gartner certainly doesn't mind the exposure either. Unless you were living under a rock for the past six months, you probably heard one of this past summer's hottest anthems, "Animal Rights," a collaborative effort brought forth by deadmau5 and Gartner.

"It was interesting because I kind of had a preconceived notion about how he would be to work [with]," said Gartner. "I think our sounds are really similar, so I figured he would work in a similar way to me, but the way that he writes music is actually completely different to me. But he achieves kind of the same sound through a completely different process."

Recorded in deadmau5's favorite Los Angeles studio — that would be rocker Tommy Lee's House — "Animal Rights" is a thumping progressive house anthem that melds Wolfgang's unmistakable harmonics and funk riffs with the driving bass line and wobbly synths that make deadmau5 one of the unique forces in the dance music world.

"[Deadmau5] writes these rich complex chord progressions and he does it by drawing these little bars on a grid, which is just amazing that you can do that and get that result," Gartner goes on to say. "It just proves you don't have to be able to play keyboards to write amazing music."

The two sound pioneers never cease to stop pushing the limits on what they are able to produce. Using drastically difference production approaches, deadmau5 and Gartner had the ability to play off each other's strengths while recording the track.

"I'd say the biggest thing is that I play everything in on a keyboard, like even my drums," says Gartner. "I play everything in live and he draws it in with notes on a mouse, which blew me away because his music is very musical."

What do you think 2011 will hold for deadmau5 and Gartner? Let us know in the comments below!

Spending some time with two of her closest friends, Halle Berry grabbed up lunch at Sra. Martinez in Miami yesterday (March 13).

The "Monster's Ball" actress looked cute and casual, wearing a loose gray t-shirt, skinny jeans, and sandals as she and her sunshine state travel mates chowed down and conversed at an outdoor patio.

Last week, the 44-year-old was spotted in New York City where she was filming her latest movie, "New Year's Eve," in a set of scrubs.

Halle's ex, model Gabriel Aubry, reportedly has been living in a Manhattan hotel while she works on the romantic comedy so he can stay close to their daughter, Nahla.

Nick Jonas Honored at 6th Annual Carnival For a Cure

To the delight of the event's organizers, Nick Jonas made a return appearance at the 6th Annual Carnival For A Cure in New York City on Sunday (March 13).

Joined at the Metropolitan Pavilion venue by his parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas, the "Camp Rock" star took the stage alongside Diabetes Research Institute CEO Robert A. Pearlman to accept a plaque from the organization in recognition of his efforts to improve life for those suffering from the autoimmune related disease.

Clearly excited about being able to pitch in during the Carnival For A Cure, Nick told press prior to the event, ?I?m looking forward to attending and sharing my story about how diabetes hasn?t slowed me down.?

Meanwhile, Carnival co-chair Carolyn Goldfarb said, ?In 2007, we were fortunate to have the Jonas Brothers perform at Carnival for a Cure. Nick silenced the crowd when he divulged for the first time that he has type 1 diabetes. From that moment forward, he sensitized millions of teens and parents to the disease and the need to find a cure."

Fellow co-chair Holly Sherr added, ?We are so excited to have him back at this event that benefits the Diabetes Research Institute, the only organization solely dedicated to finding a cure for diabetes."

Justin Bieber's Grammy Performance Will Be 'A Crossover,' Usher Says

The 'O.M.G.' singer looks forward to sharing the stage with his protégé on Sunday night.
By James Montgomery

Usher
Photo: Amanda Edwards/ Getty Images

HOLLYWOOD — At Sunday's 53rd Grammy Awards, Usher will be pulling double duty as both a nominee and a performer. Of course, given the massive year he just completed — with the success of his smash single "O.M.G." and as a mentor to rising phenom Justin Bieber — Ush's Grammy plans seem rather fitting.

Especially since he'll be performing with Bieber (and Bieber's pal Jaden Smith), a move that's just as much about celebrating Usher's successes as it is the successes of his young protégé.

"Having been through [the Grammys] so many times, you couldn't want for anything more than for your young protégé to have the opportunity to have one, so, in support of him having his moment, I wanted to be here," Usher told MTV News on Thursday, hours before his performance at the (Belvedere) RED launch party in Hollywood. "And also to be there to perform, to kind of tell the story of how we came together. This music business has definitely been good to both of us, and this year we have a lot to be happy for."

And just how will the dynamic duo tell that story? Well, Usher wasn't about to reveal all the details, but he did say that he's hoping their performance will show another side of Bieber ... a side most tend to overlook.

"The performance will be fun," Usher explained. "We want to get up there and just do what we do. Be comfortable, and have a great time. ... This is kind of a crossover for Justin. Having performed on so many different stages, this is the way that I wanted him to be seen and an opportunity to show the industry — a lot of the industry, that didn't believe [in him] — some of his other talents. He's going to play acoustically, and also, we'll get down a little bit."

And though Ush is up for a pair of Grammy awards on Sunday — Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best Contemporary R&B Album for Raymond v. Raymond — he's most looking forward to sharing the stage with Bieber and giving fans a look at where the young artist will be heading next.

"I'm very proud, man. I definitely saw it from the beginning, but thanks to the team that we have around us, it was made to happen. And that story has only just begun," Usher said. "The story of Justin Bieber doesn't stop with screaming girls; we need screaming fans all around the world ... a cultural experience that's much more than just fanfare. And that's what this is. That's what the Grammys will be; that's what my next phase for Justin is. This is the way I found him: I found him with a guitar in his hand, so I want him to be seen that way."

Don't miss "Snooki & Sway: Live From the Grammys," a red-carpet live stream kicking off Sunday at 6 p.m. ET on MTV.com. And stick with us all Grammy night for coverage of the red carpet, the show, the afterparties and beyond!

Foo Fighters Fans Are 'People Who Dig Rock Music,' Dave Grohl Says

'There's not one particular demographic,' he tells MTV News during their 'MTV First' premiere of 'Rope.'

The Foo Fighters came to one lucky fan's house Thursday for "MTV First," where they premiered their "Rope" video and answered questions submitted on Twitter and in person.

When MTV News' James Montgomery asked the band about their fanbase, lead singer Dave Grohl described the diversity of those who fill up stadiums when the band is on tour.

"There's not one particular demographic. It's just people who dig rock music," Dave noted. "When we play gigs, it's a trip to stand there and look at the audience, because there'll be kids, like 5- or 6-year-old kids, and then there'll be like full-on mustache dads. And then there'll be like crazy MILF drunk mamas."

The Foo Fighters certainly treasure their fans, both new and vintage. "We still get new fans and then we still have some that saw Nirvana. So to me it's really awesome, because we wouldn't be here if it weren't for our fans."

As far as what the average Foo Fighters fan may be like, there's certainly a lack of paparazzi stampedes and screaming teenagers.

"I think we have a cool relationship with [our fans]," Dave smiled. "Like when people see us, they don't go, 'Oh my God! It's the Foos!' They'll just be like, 'Hey, Dave, what's up?' and I'm like, 'Do I know that guy?' So I never say, 'It's nice to meet you.' I always say, 'It's nice to see you.' "

Dave also spoke of his recent discovery of a vast and enthusiastic population of Foos fans in South America, when he joined Twitter.

"One of the first things I noticed when I first tweeted is that like 98 percent of the people on Twitter live in Argentina and Brazil," Dave said. "I [tweeted] a picture of the tape machines, and 50 percent of the responses were like, 'Come to Argentina!' 'Come to Brazil!' 'Come to Chile!' "

The South American fans have already made quite an impression on the Foo Fighters. As Dave recalled, "We had this one knob on the mixing deck that we made the 'grunge' knob, so we turned it up to 11 and took a picture of it, and someone from Argentina wrote, 'Never too grungy!' And so that became this catchphrase that we use."

Do you count yourself among the Foo Fighters' eclectic fanbase? Let us know in the comments!

Michael Jackson Estate Rakes In $310 Million To Date

Singer left behind more than $400 million in debt.

Between album sales, movie profits, licensing arrangements and lucrative deals for Cirque du Soleil shows, the estate of late King of Pop Michael Jackson has raked in more than $300 million since the singer's shocking death in June 2009.

According to TMZ, legal documents released on Thursday reveal that executors of MJ's estate have managed to make a major dent in the more than $400 million in debt that Jackson owed at the time of his death.

The first accounting from the executors shows that they have already spent around $159 million paying back various debts, income taxes and other expenses, which include providing support for the pop star's mother, Katherine Jackson, as well as his three young children.

"Although there remain unresolved creditor claims, pending litigation and additional challenging business, tax and legal issues, and the estate is not yet in a condition to be closed, the executors have made substantial progress in reducing the estate's debt," the documents state, according to a Reuters report. Two of Jackson's longtime confidants, attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain, were named as administrators in a will sign by the pop icon.

In addition to paying to make "substantial improvements" to the Jackson family's Havenhurst estate in Encino, California, the executors also spent an undetermined amount of money on "last illness and funeral and memorial service expenses." Those costs included a $900,000 payment to the Forest Lawn Memorial cemetery where Jackson is buried and $35,000 on expenses described as "costume for memorial."

TMZ reported that not only did the famously cash-strapped Jackson have more than $400 million in debt, but his estate also owed more than $40 million to concert promoter AEG tied to the scuttled This Is It Tour, for which MJ was rehearsing when he died unexpectedly. They've also paid $27.2 million in taxes and $4 million in mortgage payments on Jackson's properties.

Despite the solid sales of the Michael album and millions of units of the singer's back catalog being sold, as well as the box office of the "This Is It" movie and DVD sales, the estate is not nearly out of the woods. TMZ noted that the administrators have received more than 65 creditors' claims, some of which are subject to "extremely high" interest rates, and there are several outstanding lawsuits against the estate in several countries.

Mel Gibson Charged With Spousal Battery

Actor set to appear at L.A. hearing on Friday to face misdemeanor count stemming from incident with ex Oksana Grigorieva.

Mel Gibson was charged with one misdemeanor count of spousal battery on Friday (March 11), mere hours before the troubled actor is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court for a hearing regarding his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva.

Last July, police opened up an investigation into an incident involving the actor and his ex after they conducted an interview with Grigorieva.

The pair dated after Gibson divorced his wife of 26 years — he was separated from his wife for three years before she finally petitioned for the dissolution of their marriage — and Grigorieva gave birth to the couple's daughter. They later split, however, and a nasty custody case ensued with each side tossing unflattering allegations against the other.

Grigorieva painted Gibson as an out-of-control and abusive partner; a leaked voicemail message Gibson left on Grigorieva's phone contained racially charged language and threats, including one in which the "Lethal Weapon" star threatened to burn his former lover's house down.

Gibson, meanwhile, alleged Grigorieva — a Russian recording artist who was at one time signed to the actor's music label — was attempting to extort the actor after their affair ended.

In the domestic abuse case against Gibson, Grigorieva alleges that he attacked her and knocked two of her teeth out during a physical altercation. She also claims Gibson threatened her at his Malibu estate with a handgun. Lawyers for Gibson have disputed all of the claims and argued that the audio samplings provided by Grigorieva have been edited and tampered with.

'Red Riding Hood' Star Amanda Seyfried Shoots Down Comparisons to 'Twilight'

'The truth is, it's an entirely different story,' actress says.
By Aly Semigran

Mythical folklore. Catherine Hardwicke. A steamy, young love triangle involving a pretty girl and two cute guys, one of whom may be a wolf.

There was no doubt that when the formula used to create the revamped fairy tale "Red Riding Hood" was revealed, "Twilight" comparisons were bound to be made. It's a roadblock that Amanda Seyfried, who plays the film's scarlet-caped protagonist, is entirely aware of.

MTV News caught up with Seyfried to discuss the film, which opens in theaters this Friday, and why moviegoers shouldn't go in expecting another "Twilight."

"It's a bummer that that's what's happening," Seyfried said of the inevitable "Twilight" association. The 25-year-old actress, who admitted she doesn't like when "an audience has [certain] expectations," recognized that a lot of it certainly has to do with "Red Riding Hood" director Catherine Hardwicke, who was at the helm of the first "Twilight Saga" movie. "That's her movie," Seyfried acknowledged.

Adding even more fuel to the "Twilight" fire is Seyfried's "Red Riding Hood" co-star Billy Burke, who plays her father in the film and who is known to Twi-hards as Bella Swan's dad. "Can't forget about that," she said with a smile, regarding Burke's involvement with both projects.

Still, she and her castmates, including her onscreen love interests Max Irons and Shiloh Fernandez, couldn't help but poke fun at the situation on set. "We'd make jokes about [Hardwicke] calling us Kristen [Stewart] and Rob [Pattinson] and Taylor [Lautner]," Seyfried told MTV. Interestingly enough, Fernandez was one of the actors originally considered for the role of brooding vampire Edward Cullen in "Twilight."

But Seyfried remains adamant about audiences being able to distinguish the difference between this film and the "Twilight Saga." "Red Riding Hood" is a new take on the classic fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood" that follows a young woman named Valerie, who is torn between choosing from two men, all while her small village is terrorized by a mysterious wolf.

"Yeah, I mean it does surround a girl coming of age in a love triangle, but that's a lot of movies," Seyfried said. "The truth is, it's an entirely different story.

"I think audiences are going to be really surprised when they end up seeing this movie because ... there's so many elements and there's so much going on," she assured, giving her own synopsis of the PG-13 chiller: "It's a murder mystery as well as a coming-of-age movie, and there's a lot of tension and it's scary. All those elements combine to be thrilling, I think."

Do you think "Red Riding Hood" will be able to set itself apart from "Twilight"? Tell us in the comments.

Sometimes celebrities get starstruck too — just ask Brandy. In the latest episode of "When I Was 17," the singer-turned-reality starlet opens up about meeting Michael Jackson, thanks to producer Rodney Jerkins.

"When I was 17, my producer Rodney Jerkins was working with Michael Jackson at the time," Brandy says in the episode, premiering Saturday at 11 a.m. ET on MTV. "He knew how much I wanted to meet Michael Jackson, so he says, 'Would you like to come and meet him?' I'm like, 'Are you serious? Of course I want to meet Michael Jackson! Where do I meet you? Where do we come?' "

And it wasn't just Jerkins who knew about the singer's admiration for Jackson. "Michael Jackson was it, so we studied Michael. Brandy studied Michael," her brother Ray J says.

Brandy says the super-producer orchestrated the meeting between the siblings and Jackson at the recording studio. However, prior to entering the room, Brandy says nerves got the best of her.

"My heart is beating so fast at this point," the "Dancing With the Stars" alum recalls. "I'm like, 'Oh my God. It's happening. We're about to open the door and he's going to be in there.' "

Ray J, who was equally excited, peeped around the room, saying, "When we first walked into the studio, we can kind of see Michael in the corner and we looked at each other like, 'Did you see him?' " Unfortunately, Brandy, couldn't maintain the same type as composure. "And I'm looking at him like, 'Oh my God. This is Michael Jackson,' " adding, "I fainted, blacked out — like seriously blacked out."

"When I Was 17" airs Saturdays at 11 a.m. ET on MTV.

Rick Ross Lining Up Maybach Music Roster For Self Made

Rick Ross is wasting no time in getting his Maybach Music Group rolling. The Miami rap don announced that he's releasing a compilation album called Self Made that will be in stores May 24.

The Bawse delivered the news about the new album via Twitter, including his latest signees — DC rapper Wale, Philadelphia's Meek Mill and Atlanta MC Pill — in the tweet.

After a bidding war that included Bryan "Baby" Williams' Cash Money Records and Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records, the Def Jam artist decided to pass on aligning with another hip-hop mogul, choosing instead to partner with the Warner Music Group to distribute his Maybach Music Group imprint.

"We are thrilled to be in business with Rick Ross," said Todd Moscowitz, co-president and CEO of Warner Bros. Records, in a statement last month. "We were drawn to his hustle. Ross is an entrepreneur who built his company from the ground up. He's a music magnate, a lightning rod, and an empire builder. Our partnership with him is about building a brand that endures. We back his vision all the way and are ready to give him the resources he needs to pursue that vision."

Of the aforementioned artists, Wale was the first to sign with the Bawse's label, followed by Meek Mill and Pill, who was already a Warner artist.

Other acts on MMG include Gunplay, Torch and Young Breed of rap group Triple Cs as well as R&B singer Masspike Miles. Last July, Rick Ross released his fourth solo album, Teflon Don, which featured the hits "B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast)" and "Aston Martin Music" as well as the street anthem "MC Hammer."

Beginning March 18, Ross will be heading out on the road with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Travis Barker for the I Am Music II Tour.
