Black Eyed Peas rocker Taboo (born Jaime Luis G�mez) is experiencing fatherhood for the second time since the arrival of his son Jalen last year. In an interview with US, the 35-year-old rapper admits that he's much better prepared for the responsibilities of parenthood now than he was when his oldest son Joshua was born 17 years ago.
On being a dad for the second time: "I was a little selfish when I was younger. I cared about myself, and I was out on the streets and letting my mom take care of Josh. I wasn't prepared mentally to be a parent. Now, I am 35 years old, I am successful, I have something to offer, and I'm capable of parenting now. Before, I didn't want to take care of a baby and change diapers, but now I am all about it."
